Free School Meals Campaign

"This bill is about the future of our children.
Is there any issue more important?"

Welcome to the Free School Meals Campaign section of the Scottish Socialist Party website. Here you will find articles, resources and links related to a cause that I feel very passionate about and one which I have devoted much of my time as an MSP to.

The SSP has championed the cause of free school meals since the founding of the party in 1999. The party has laid two bills in the Scottish Parliament and has campaigned continuously for 8 years for a measure that would have a dramatic effect on the health of Scotland's children.
